CURRENT ROLES
GIS Analyst — Graduate
We have a fantastic opportunity for a GIS Analyst or Graduate to join our developing Gisborne based team, to assist with managing the Gisborne and Coromandel mapping information. Other responsibilities will include assisting with maintaining our forest management system LRM, monthly operations mark ups using a combination of Drone flights and satellite imagery and where required providing support to our operational staff with map request and data management.
You will also get the opportunity to be involved in the development of the use of new technology such as Arc Online and use of ArcGIS apps in the field.
You will have the following attributes:
- Tertiary education in Forestry or related field
- Experience in the Forestry industry preferred but not essential
- Self-motivated
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Team player
- Competent in ERSI ArcGIS
- Knowledge of Forest Management Systems preferred
